APK Group Germany continues to win new contracts, including building the 5G and fibre network in Kleve for one of the biggest players in the fibre market, German glass fiber. Even when competing colleagues do not get the job done, APK Group is ready to pick up the thread.

Experienced leadership and reliable partners

Gerwin Vreeman, project manager in Willich, stresses the importance of APK Group's reliable reputation and extensive experience: "Our concrete brief for this fibre-optic project is not 100% clear at present due to communication problems between the client and the previous contractor. Still, it is a challenge that we take up with both hands. Again, we get the chance to carry out a huge amount of works here. There is already at least 90 kilometres of blowing in this project. How many kilometres of fibre we will actually install is not yet clear, but we are ready." The choice of APK Group was prompted by our proven track record with the client: "We have our proven many times before at Deutsche Glasfaser. That makes us build a certain credibility."

Synergy with APK Drilling for optimum results

Eventually, at least 15 to 20 APKs will be active on this project by 2024. In collaboration with APK Drilling will further increase the number of APKs. "We will team up again with APK Drilling for another drilling under the A3 motorway by. In addition, drilling must be done under a railway of a goods train through," explains Gerwin. "Our two departments regularly work together and it just goes well. We can count on each other, make use of each other's strengths and in this way we can relieve our customers of additional worries.“
