Play the APKonnect game—a visual challenge for anyone who loves speed, sharpness, and a bit of competition.
The game variants
How do you play it? Not in one way... but in many!
Below you will find the explanation of all game variants. Choose your favourite, or play them all. Have fun!
1. Explain the connection
Purpose Be the first to get rid of all your cards.
Preparation Each player receives a pile of face-down cards. One card lies face-up in the centre.
Gameplay:
- Every player gets a deck of cards.
- One card lies face up in the middle.
- Find the matching symbol between your card and the middle one.
- Call the symbol and place your card on it.
- The first person to get rid of their cards wins.
2. Prevent Overload
Purpose Collect as few cards as possible.
Preparation One pile of cards is lying open in the middle.
Gameplay:
- One pile lies open in the middle.
- Players try to find the matching symbol.
- Whoever calls the symbol gets the card.
- The one with the fewest cards at the end wins.
3. Draw the Line Through
Purpose Pass your card over as quickly as possible.
Preparation Each player is dealt one face-up card in their hand.
Gameplay:
- Each player has one face-up card.
- Find the equals symbol with another player.
- Call it and pass your card.
- The player with no cards at the end wins.
4. Quick Switching
Purpose Collect as many cards as possible.
Preparation One card is face-up in the middle. The rest are in a face-down pile.
Gameplay:
- One card lies face up in the middle.
- A new card is turned over.
- Find the matching symbol between the two cards.
- Whoever calls it first gets the card.
- The one with the most cards wins.
5. Network Battle
Purpose Speed and observation!
Preparation Each player gets one face-up card. One card lies face-up in the middle.
Gameplay:
- Each player has one face-up card.
- One card lies in the middle.
- Find the matching symbol and take the middle card.
- Place a new card in the middle.
- The one with the most cards wins.
6. Stronger Together
Purpose Work together as a duo to match as quickly as possible.
Preparation Form teams of two players. Each team is given a deck of cards. One card is placed face-up in the middle.
Gameplay:
- One player looks for the matching symbol, the other shouts it as soon as it is found.
- If all goes well, the team can lay down the card.
- Switch roles after each round.
- Play with a time limit per round or until the deck runs out.
- The team with the most correct matches wins.
7. Triple Bond
Purpose Collect as many cards as possible by finding sets of three with one common symbol.Preparation
- Deal 9 open cards in the middle of the table.
- One person is the card dealer and keeps the rest of the deck with them.
Gameplay:
- All players simultaneously search for a set of three cards that to share one symbol.
- As soon as you see a set, call out the symbol and quickly take away the three cards.
- The dealer replenishes the centre until there are 9 cards again.
- Het spel gaat door tot er nul kaarten meer in het spel zijn. no valid set of three is possible anymore (usually with 4 cards or fewer).
- The player with the most cards collected wins.
Wizzo: For advanced players, you can set a time limit per round or award bonus points for finding rare symbols.
