Hydraulic work
Aannemingsbedrijf De Voogd-Grijpskerke B.V. has decades of experience in the field of hydraulic engineering. During those decades, many large- and small-scale projects in this field have been carried out for a wide variety of clients.
- Vibrating and pulling sheet piling;
- Cleaning up ditches, waterways, canals and marinas;
- Taming of watercourses;
- Applying undulations;
- Installation and maintenance of hydraulic structures, made of various materials such as (hard) wood and concrete;
- All work on dyke reinforcement, coastal and shore defence.
We also supply and construct hardwood hydraulic (garden) structures for private individuals.
Ground & road construction work
Aannemingsbedrijf De Voogd-Grijpskerke B.V. uses modern machinery and well-trained professionals to carry out a wide range of work in the fields of earthworks, sewerage works and road construction.
Groundwork
This includes soil remediation, site preparation and construction, large earthmoving, agricultural earthwork, and the sieving of soil, sand and compost with a mobile drum sieving plant.
Drainage work
This includes the construction and maintenance of sewage systems (gravity and pressure sewers), house and pump connections, drainage systems and culverts. De Voogd-Grijpskerke B.V. specialises in large pressure pipes, fitted with flow meters and other fittings, and deep sewers.
Road construction
This includes the construction of various pavements, foundation layers, road furniture and road verges. De Voogd-Grijpskerke B.V. has extensive experience in machine paving with advanced equipment such as paving clamps, stone clamps and vacuum sets.
Cable & pipe work
Aannemingsbedrijf De Voogd-Grijpskerke B.V. is a leading partner in cable and pipeline construction, with special expertise in the construction and maintenance of Zeeland's gas, water, and electricity networks, and also works for other utility and telecom companies.
Cable work
This includes the laying, assembly, repair and removal of cables for energy and information systems, with our employees trained in low-, medium- and high-voltage technology.
Pipeline construction
This includes the construction, maintenance, renovation and repair of connection lines, distribution pipelines, transport pipelines and related connection works for transporting and distributing gas and/or drinking water.
Trenchless techniques
The construction of underground pipeline infrastructure can take place using dug trenches or trenchless techniques such as directional drilling and rocket jacking, carried out by our sister company Bos Grijpskerke B.V.. Trenchless techniques often offer great advantages.
CKB certification
We are certified according to the CKB quality standard by Bureau Veritas. This standard sets requirements for cable and pipe laying companies in the gas, drinking water, energy cable and information sector, with regard to quality, health & safety, environment, safety, and financial, fiscal and administrative aspects.
Engineering
The Engineering Department of Aannemingsbedrijf De Voogd-Grijpskerke B.V. offers a total package in the field of design, preparation and GPS surveying. With state-of-the-art equipment and a great deal of knowledge and creativity, the department provides innovative, ready-made solutions according to the latest techniques. This work can be carried out independently of the execution branch.
Design & preparation
The department provides complete designs, including drawings, structural calculations, specifications, budgets and permit applications, ready for execution. Drawings are produced digitally and can be supplied in various formats. Specifications are drawn up according to the RAW system and are interchangeable within various software.
GPS mapping and measuring
For infrastructure works, the department uses the latest GPS equipment, supported by GPS and Glonass satellites. Prior to the work, the existing situation is mapped and key points, such as main axes and manholes, are plotted. After completion, the work is measured and processed into a digital drawing in the desired format. Interim monitoring and adjustments are also possible with the GPS system.
Our certificates
Aannemingsbedrijf De Voogd-Grijpskerke B.V. holds the quality certificates ISO 9001:2015, CKB:2014, the safety certificate VCA**2017/6.0, and the Process Certificate BRL SIKB 7000 for the SIKB protocols 7001 and 7004.
In 1998, the company was one of the first in Zeeland to start using an integrated KAM management system for Quality, Health & Safety and Environment. Since 1999, this system has been certified by Bureau Veritas, and in 2015 SGS Intron issued the process certificate BRL SIKB 7000.
De Voogd-Grijpskerke B.V. is recognised by the Ministry of VROM and the NIWO Foundation as a carrier, collector, trader and broker (VIHB) of waste materials, based on reliability, creditworthiness and professional competence.
Recognised training company
Our company is recognised by Fundeon, Kenteq and Aequor as a learning company for ground, road, and hydraulic engineering, installation technology (gas/water), and green business. We comply with the quality standards for professional practice under the Education and Vocational Training Act and work together with educational institutions to improve employees' professional skills.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT ACTION PLAN
CO2 performance ladder
In the board meeting dd July 2021, the strategic target was set to reduce our CO2 emissions by 5% per year compared to the normalised CO2 emissions in the base year 2020, based on turnover. This 5% is based on total emissions (scope 1 + scope 2 + business travel).
Final Reduction 2023:
- Scope 1: 728- 657= 71 ton CO2 reduction
- Scope 2: 17.3 - 0.808 = 16.5 tonnes of CO2 reduction
- Scope 3 business travel: 34.1 - 32.3 = 1.8 tonnes CO2 reduction
Reduction target per scope 2024:
- Scope 1: 5 % x 728 tonnes = 36.4 tonnes CO2 reduction
- Scope 2: 5% x 17.3 tonnes = 0.86 tonnes CO2 reduction
- Scope 3 business travel: 5% x 34.1 tonnes = 1.7 tonnes CO2 reduction
To achieve this objective, we have investigated various reduction options. To do so, we used the savings measures taken by other companies in the sector using SKAO's list of measures.
The selected measures, along with the annual objectives, have been laid down in an Energy Management Action Plan (EnMP). This plan uses the year 2020 as a baseline year and 2024 as the year for achieving objectives. The action plan has been drawn up in accordance with NEN-ISO 50001 and is endorsed by the management through its signature.
A fixed set of measures has been defined that in principle applies to all projects. Should there be projects where few of the company measures are applicable, we will examine whether other measures are possible for that specific project and whether the set of company measures is sufficiently complete.
The EnMP is communicated (internally and externally) and as far as possible implemented for our company and the projects for which CO2-related award advantage has been obtained. To the extent that implementation of a particular measure has not yet been achieved, a target date is set in the action plan for this. The plan is updated annually (or as often as necessary) and approved by management.

OBJECTIVE
In 2023, emissions could be divided into a number of points, as can be seen in Figure 1. This shows that our focus will be primarily on 3 points: business traffic (2023: 21%, 2022: 18%), mobile machinery (2023: 48%, 2022: 52%) and freight transport (2023: 28%, 2022: 24%).

The objective has been determined based on revenue. This allows the objective to grow or fall with revenue, taking various factors into account. Because work is done on a project basis, it may be that one project has more emissions than another, thereby influencing total emissions. Revenue shows how the company is doing and whether there have been large projects that have led to increased emissions. This way, the objective can still be achieved.
To determine the objective, a review was conducted of industry peers and the objectives they set. From this, it appears that the average lies between 1% and 7% per year. This review considered companies that have achieved or wish to achieve maturity level 3. We expect to achieve a reduction of 5%, as we are a laggard/mid-performer in the sector when looking at the SKAO's list of measures. We anticipate that in the initial years, we can make significant progress in reducing CO2 emissions, primarily in business travel, mobile machinery, and freight transport.

As a technical infrastructure employee, you will carry out work, mainly manual, in the field of earthworks, sewerage work, pipe construction and cable works.
