Employment opportunities and quality careers

In order to further professionalise our HR policy and respond to the challenges posed by our continuous growth, APK Group developed a project in 2018 to bring about a sustainable personnel policy. In order to bring this two-year project to a successful conclusion, APK Group is receiving support from the European Union and the Flemish Government. In addition to the substantial investment that we are making ourselves, we can also count on financial support from the ESF (European Social Fund) and the VCF (Flemish Cofinancing Fund) amounting to 31,940.95 euros and 47,911.42 euros respectively.

Naturally, we want to translate this financial impulse in HR policy into concrete results and, above all, into satisfied employees. This two-year project covers all aspects that contribute to a successful HR policy.

Our main goal is to roll out a uniform policy that is supported by the entire APK Group, ranging from a clear feedback culture and vision on leadership to an unambiguous salary policy. The development of a training policy that meets the needs and competences of our employees is also on the agenda, as personal growth and ambition are central to our company.

In addition to this, we also want to ensure that every employee in our group feels at home. By developing a warm welcome policy and an effective welfare policy, we hope that all APK staff will be able to continue to develop within our company.

About ESF

ESF Flanders is responsible for the management and implementation of the European Social Fund in Flanders. In addition, ESF Flanders manages the European Integration Fund and the European Globalisation Fund.

Annually, ESF Flanders receives 66 million euros in ESF. This amount is used to increase employment and stimulate and strengthen the Flemish labour market (source: ESF-Flanders).
