APK Group and Unit-T establish UA Fiber to facilitate efficient fibre roll-out in Flanders
APK Group and Unit-T are joining forces to form UA Fiber: a temporary partnership for the large-scale roll-out of fibre-optic networks in Flanders. The partnership combines the complementary expertise of both companies and is intended to ensure a smoother, less disruptive fibre roll-out on the streets of Flanders.
Combined expertise for Wyre assignments
APK Group brings over 65 years of technical expertise across a wide range of infrastructure disciplines. Unit-T, a joint venture between Telenet and Solutions30, is a trusted name in telecoms and field services. Both partners have secured contracts from Wyre for the deployment of fibre-optic networks and will now carry out these projects jointly through UA Fiber. The fibre roll-out is a complex operation requiring precise coordination, scalability and extensive field experience. Within UA Fiber, the strengths of both organisations are combined into a single, joint approach.
Less neighbourhood nuisance thanks to an integrated approach
Both APK Group and Unit-T have many years of experience with infrastructure projects that inevitably involve groundworks on public roads. Thanks to this partnership, such works can now be coordinated in a synergistic manner, which significantly reduces disruption to local residents.
